Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) "teaser" sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the Title & Author, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!
My Teaser:
"Because the glow of the nightstand lamp didn't illuminate much of the space before me, I fished the penlight from my pocket. The beam glistered across the red pool on a white tile floor."
Fear Nothing by Dean Koontz, page 120
ohhh interesting (and kinda scary!)-- great teaser & thanks for stopping by my blog =)
ReplyDeleteI hadn't read anything by Dean Koontz but I have been wanting too.
ReplyDeleteMy Teaser Tuesday
@Alyssa: This book is far creepier than any of the other books I've read by him. Having dolls suddenly appear random places is enough to have me shaking!
ReplyDelete@BLHmistress: He is really good! I started with the Prodigal Son series, because I absolutely love Frankenstein. After that, I read Door to December. My brother just had me check out the Watchers (about a highly intelligent dog) and the current book I'm reading. He is a very good author :)
A pool of blood, eh? Sounds like a bit dark and creepy (hopefully in a good way). I haven't read any Dean Koontz books yet. Thanks for sharing a teaser. :)
ReplyDeleteMy teaser is from Kelly Creagh's Nevermore
I love Dean Koontz....... he always manage to put me on edge when I'm reading him!
ReplyDelete@Journey: This is the first book I've read by him that really makes me nervous!
ReplyDeleteI highly recommend Lightning, Servants of Twighlight, and Shadow Fires!!
