Hellraiser was my first introduction to Clive Barker.  I remember sitting on my friend's couch during our weekly "beer and pie" nights.  We were slowly working our way through 80's horror flicks.  For him, he was reliving old childhood memories.  For me, I was finally able to watch many of the movies my mother forbade.  (And, in the case of Jason X, wondering why people decided to drag out a franchise.)
